In looking forward to Easter this upcoming weekend, I wanted to share with you something I am incredibly fond and that is old-fashioned vintage Springtime illustrations...The kind with lots of flowers and animals doing very "un-animal" like things...like rabbits riding in buggies or painting Easter eggs...these sweet little works of art just make me happy and I can't help it!! They are so, SO cute...Put an old-timey bonnet on a little chick any time and I will swoon. I am not sure if this particular kind of anthropomorphism has always had such power over me (its quite possible that the older I get, the odder I get...) BUT! nonetheless, here is a lovely collection, I gathered from all over the internet, for your viewing pleasure...I hope it will make you smile too!
